What do you do?
We are a full service decorator. We free you from
the stress involved in preparing a hall for a reception. With one phone
call you can have it done. Many of our clients don’t even meet us
until after the reception when we are cleaning up. Others prefer to
have personal input into every detail. We specialize in converting
cultural halls to provide a look and an atmosphere you may have never thought
possible |
Why do I need a professional decorator?
Experienced decorators are professionals in the details that provide for a comfortable atmosphere. They help ensure there will be enough tables and chairs without crowding. They understand crowd control; from the warm welcome at the correct entry door to making sure your guests never feel that they’re going up the down staircase. In addition to relieving you of stress and labor before the event, a decorator will become your best friend after the event. A profession decorator will bring in an experienced crew that can have your decorations removed in 30 minutes to an hour. This allows you to concentrate on other aspects of clearing the building. You will be tired. You will appreciate the service. |
You hold the contract with the facility you are
renting. You provide someone to let us in at the appropriate
time. You clear the hall of unwanted items. You set up the facility
owned tables and chairs you want to use. You are responsible for any
contractual cleanup after our decorations have been removed. We take
responsibility only for setup and removal of Something Borrowed assets. |
Do you rent pieces separately? I only need a couple items.
No. We provide you with a complete package that will impress your guests and reduce your stress. As for the couple of items, call us and we will try to help you locate those things. |
Why is Something Borrowed the right choice for me?
We feel that the only things you take with you from the night are your pictures and your memories. Whether you hire a professional photographer or a wannabe, we provide backdrops and settings that will make your pictures turn out so spectacularly that friends will wonder where they were taken. As for the memories: It might be more fun for you if you were not there while we decorated. The experience you will have as you walk into the hall for the first time is one you will never forget; neither will your guests. You will hear the praise over and over again from your guests throughout the night. |

The possessions, such as clothing and linens that a bride assembles for her marriage. Throughout history, single young women all over the world have prepared for their change in marital status by accumulating a trousseau. A traditional trousseau -- stored in a hope chest -- included bridal accessories, jewelry, lingerie, toiletries and makeup, plus bed linens and bath towels for her new home. From Victorian times till today, the trousseau also has consisted of brand-new outfits to see a woman through her wedding, honeymoon, and newlywed days. Oftentimes the garments in a trousseau were hand-sewn by a mother, aunt, grandmother, or the girl herself if skilled with a needle.
